This notice explains how Philoxenia Stays uses personal information when you visit our website or enquire about a stay.
Who is responsible?
Philoxenia Stays is operated by PHILOXENIA ECO HOSPITALITY & CONSULTING Ι.Κ.Ε., GEMI 160399609000, Omirou 98, Municipality of Spata-Artemida, Attica, 19016, Greece.

Booking enquiries
We collect the name, email address, preferred accommodation, arrival and departure dates, numbers of adults and children, and any message you submit. Please do not send payment details, children’s names, health information or other sensitive information through this form.
We use this information to answer questions, check availability, provide prices and booking conditions, and take steps towards a reservation at your request. The legal basis for these steps is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. General correspondence and service troubleshooting may be handled on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to requests and operating a reliable service, Article 6(1)(f).
The required fields help us assess and respond to your request; the message and children field are optional. An enquiry is not a confirmed reservation. We do not use the enquiry form to enrol you in marketing.
How information is handled
The website uses WordPress and Contact Form 7 on hosting supplied through EuroDNS. Enquiries are sent to our Microsoft 365 mailbox using FluentSMTP. Contact Form 7 does not itself retain submissions in a separate enquiry database in its default configuration, but the enquiry is stored in our mailbox and may be included in FluentSMTP email logs.
Authorised company personnel and service providers involved in hosting, email delivery and technical support may process information as needed for those services. We do not sell enquiry information.
Hosting security and access logs may include IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and timestamps for operation, security and troubleshooting. These are distinct from browser cookies.
How long we keep information
FluentSMTP is currently configured to delete email logs after 14 days. Those logs can include message content and recipient details. Mailbox copies and hosting backups are separate from this setting.
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your request, arrange a stay and address any related issues. Where a booking follows, relevant records may be kept to meet legal, accounting and claims requirements. Mailbox records, hosting logs and backups follow separate retention processes; the 14-day email-log setting does not delete those copies. Contact us for information about records relating to you or to request erasure where applicable.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our current pages use locally hosted accommodation photos, award images and guest review excerpts. These are not live Booking.com or Airbnb widgets. We have not identified analytics, advertising tags, embedded maps or embedded videos in the inspected pages.
WordPress may use cookies for authorised administrator login and preferences. Such administrator functions are separate from ordinary guest browsing. Contact Form 7 does not set cookies in its default configuration.
Strictly necessary storage does not require consent. If we introduce optional tracking, it will remain disabled until you choose to accept it, with equally accessible rejection and a way to change your choice. Your browser also allows you to manage stored cookies.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Contact david@philoxenia.eco. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
We do not make automated decisions about your enquiry or use it for profiling.
Other websites and updates
If you follow a link to Airbnb, Booking.com or another website, that service’s privacy and cookie arrangements apply there. We will review this notice before adding an integrated booking engine or other services that change how information is processed.
