Egaleo – Local Athens Living
Gaia Apartment – Egaleo, Athens

Gaia was the first chapter of Philoxenia. With the name meaning “earth”, this apartment was always meant to feel grounding and warm.
Christina : “Gaia became my home when I took my first steps into adult life. I decided it was time to “move out”… so I went one floor up from my parents. True independence, with home-cooked meals still within reach. But what truly makes Gaia special is how she was created. From working closely with every craftsman to choosing each detail, I discovered something important: I love building things. I love collaborating, That’s where my passion for projects and the heart behind Philoxenia was born. Gaia was once my personal escape after long working days, a peaceful place to breathe and reset. And now, she’s ready to offer the same serenity to you.“
Helios Apartment – Egaleo, Athens

Next came Helios which went live in May 2025. As its name means “sun”, the apartment reflects our goal to create a bright spot in the middle of Egaleo.
David : “Helios is the apartment right above Gaia. It was meant to be for one of Christina’s brothers but since it remained just bricks and concrete for too many years, we took the initiative to acquire it from him. Together we transformed it into the bright spot it is today with its lively colors in the open space living room & kitchen and a bright design in both bedrooms. As we had tested our ability to co-create before with the house we actually live in, Helios is for me the confirmation of our strength designing places where guests can truly experience the feeling of Philoxenia.“
Artemida – Local Coastal Living
Odysseas Seaside Escape – Artemida

Our latest project, launching Summer 2026, is Odysseas… the name will be no surprise to the many who know our long time connection to this legendary King.
David: “Christina’s childhood summers were usually spent in Artemida on the East Attica coast, the place where her father had built a summer cottage. When we decided to move to Greece, we turned that cottage into our family home and that’s where we settled. Waking up one morning and finding the land next to ours up for sale, the seeds of an idea were planted. An idea that took many twists and turns but eventually settled into gorgeous escape that’s waiting for guests to embrace. It’s named after our son, Odysseas, and this is where the spirit of Philoxenia will flow naturally.“
